After teaching for 25 years it became time for me to retire from my chosen profession as a public school educator. I was able to finish on a high note with one of the best groups of students I had worked and learned with in my career.
Upon finishing the school 2022-2023 year, I had the opportunity to discover and receive training in the Fundamentals and Associate content of the Orton-Gillingham approach to literacy. Having had previous awareness of this approach while still teaching would have allowed me to provide even better support to my students.
Since then I’ve also had the opportunity to travel and spend more time with friends and family, including my partner of 20 years and our 2 Pugs.
I enjoyed my years in public education and look forward to a new chapter working 1:1 online with your child to help develop their literacy skills, build their confidence, and show them what it means to be a lifelong learner.
